I've hit the big 3-0! And more exciting news....:)

What an exciting weekend I have had!  My 30th birthday was on Friday and it was a fun filled day.  After David left for work, I had a wonderful run with my sweet & energetic Azaria.

A tasty lunch at Dodiyo's with my Mom.  She hinted at the potential surprise I may have later in the day....

 David, Lauren, Mom, and Susan worked very hard to try and surprise me...but I was onto them!  Lauren flew in from Bethesda to celebrate my 30th with me :)  It was wonderful spending some time with her on Friday and Saturday evening and I look forward to her next visit!

David did a great job of surprising me and taking me to dinner at Hot & Hot Fish Club for my birthday.  YUM!  I have only been one time before, for David's birthday, and it's been a memorable evening both times.  We stuffed ourselves full!

 

 Mom treated us to a delicious dinner on Saturday night at Amore.  Highly recommend it... make sure you have reservations!!

 

On Sunday morning, I invited a hand full of my Mom's friends over for a surprise birthday brunch...

 She was surprised!!!!

 Our new dining room table has just the right amount of leaves to seat this group!!

And last but not least...the most nerve wrecking surprise of all!  David and I shared with my family on Monday, August 5 (Mom's 60th birthday) that we are expecting a little one in February!  This photo was taken on our trip in Key West a couple weekends ago...but I'll make sure to share the photos from last night's party in my next post!
